Most of the research done on seawater and its benefits has been done in Europe. Over here in the states we just don't seem to be that aware of the possibility of taking a mineral supplement in the form of seawater.
Here's another pdf. on how well seawater works to heal the dermatitis in man, it also indicates that the components in seawater are what are responsible for healing the dermatitis.
